The St. Ingbert Devils Take First Place in Fifth Baseball Winter League Tournament for Children in Trier

At the fifth tournament of the baseball winter league for children in Trier, the baseball players from TV St. Ingbert took first place.

At the last indoor tournament of the 2023/24 children’s winter league season, the young Devils were able to achieve some clear victories. In the first game against the Speyer Turtles they achieved a 17:7 win. A 20:2 followed against the Saarlouis Hornets and the young Devils also clearly had the upper hand against the Trier Cardinals with 26:10.

The result was a nice end to the winter season, because the St. Ingbert Devils were unable to win in the previous tournaments.

Despite these successes, the Devils are still looking for girls and boys who are interested in baseball, because in order to compete in the official league, significantly more players are needed than in the indoor season.

The young Devils have been training again on the field in Ballpark Wallerfeld since March and are happy about everyone who stops by training to try out baseball. Training currently takes place on Wednesdays, from 5:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. and occasionally on Saturdays.
