(LaPresse) Former Belarusian ice hockey player Konstantin Koltsov has died at the age of 42. He was the partner of the tennis champion Aryna Sabalenka (number 2 in the world, with whom he had been in a relationship since 2021).
The Belarusian hockey federation announced this in a statement, specifying that the death occurred “suddenly”, without specifying how or where he died. Koltsov also played with the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NHL between 2002 and 2006 and participated with the Belarusian national team in the Winter Olympics in 2002 and 2010.
