(AGENPARL) – Wed 06 March 2024 The Italian national team will debut at Haarlem Week 2024 with the always fascinating duel with the Netherlands. This was announced by the organization of the historic international tournament, now in its 31st edition, scheduled from Friday 12th to Friday 19th July. For Italy, the one on Dutch soil is an important commitment that will help the staff to keep an eye on the best prospects and above all to kick off the Club Italia LA28 project, which will have to lead, among other objectives, to qualification for the Los Angeles Games. Angeles, where baseball, along with softball, has returned to the official schedule.
Said of the traditional European derby, which will be the 135th in history, scheduled for 7.30pm on Saturday 13 July, the Azzurri will play other equally fascinating and demanding matches in the following days against the United States, Spain, Japan and Taiwan respectively, before the semi-finals or the 5th-6th place final. The finals are scheduled for Friday 19 July.
For Italy it will be the seventh participation in the Haarlem Baseball Week, as well as the third consecutive after the 2018 and 2022 editions. The intent of the Italia Elite for the tournament held at the Pim Mulier Stadion will certainly be to try to hit the semi-finals, missed in the last two tournaments.

19 July: 2pm 3rd-4th place final, 4.30pm Old Stars Game, 7.30pm 1st-2nd place final.
