Faced with the outcry caused by this boycott, the LFP and its partner associations decided to change their approach. After intense discussions, it was chosen to deploy two similar systems for the days of combating racism and homophobia. From this weekend of March 30 and 31, there will therefore be a “Let’s clear racism” operation on the pitches of Ligue 1 and Ligue 2, as part of the week of education and actions against racism and anti-Semitism. Then, another, called “Let’s get rid of homophobia”, on May 18 on the occasion of the world day of this cause.
