What happened
The Carabinieri immediately set out to track down the 42-year-old, who was surprised and stopped on foot in a street in the town centre. At the time of the check, however, he was unable to provide any valid reason that could justify his removal from the place of detention, nor to show authorization from the Judicial Authority.
For this reason, also considering the flagrant situation, the man was arrested and, without prejudice to his presumption of innocence until the final sentence, once the formalities had been completed, at the disposal of the judicial authority, he was brought back to his home and once again placed under house arrest.
