After leaving Saturday’s game against the Nationals in the third inning, the Miami Marlins sent Avisail García to the 10-day disabled list.
Through their social networks, the team reported that the Venezuelan suffers a strain in his left hamstring. An injury that is no stranger to him, since it already affected him in 2023, when he was barely able to play 37 games.

Likewise, left-hander Kent Emanuel was assigned and right-hander Emmanuel Ramírez was recalled from Triple-A Jacksonville.
So far this season, in 18 games, Avisail García is hitting .240 with two home runs, two triples, and two RBIs.
