“It has been a few weeks of hard work and we need to recover after that effort. I am very sad not to be able to compete at home, but we have to listen to our body,” said Carolina Marín, who in recent weeks has won consecutively the All England in Birmingham (United Kingdom) and the Swiss Open.
In this way, the Spanish champion will return to competition in the European Championship, which will take place between April 9 and 14 in Saarbrucken (Germany), where he will defend the title obtained in Madrid two years ago.
