“I’m doing well under the circumstances, I would say. The rehab is going really well, I’m going step by step and trying to take my steps forward – let’s see,” said Alaba, when asked about a possible appearance at the European Championships, which begins for Austria on June 17th in Düsseldorf against France .
Like ÖFB star Marko Arnautovic, who is also currently injured, Alaba will be at the second preparatory game against Turkey in the Ernst Happel Stadium on Tuesday (8:45 p.m., live on ORF1).
