The agents of the
Ostia (Rm) – E’ of dtwo people arrested and three reported, in addition to the seizure of drugs, watches of suspicious origin and of a men and baseballl the balance of the extraordinary territorial control services carried out on the day of on Monday 26 February by the police on the coast of Ostia with the aim of increasing not only the repression of crimes but above all the perception of safety in the area.
The agents of X District Lidotogether with colleagues from the Police Department of the General Prevention Office of the Rome Police Headquarters, in various interventions, carried out the arrests and reports.
Specifically, in the first intervention in via Genoese Zerbi, in Ostiaa man was surprised and arrested while violating the no-approach ban which had been imposed on him in application of the so-called ‘code red’. The policemen, who had followed the story that had led to the issuing of the provision a protection of the mother, they have it stopped near the woman’s home.
In another business, in viale Vasco De Gama a woman was arrested after being found in possession of 9 sachets of crack. Also in this case, the knowledge and experience of the officers was decisive: seeing the suspect wandering around the avenue, they carried out a routine check during which the woman reacted nervously. Her behavior led the officers to investigate her further and found the 9 sachets of drugs on her.
In Piazzale Cristoforo Colombo, however, a man was reported for illegal possession of a weapon because he was caught with three knives. The call to 112 had come from passengers on a bus who had been there threatened by the man with those weapons.
On the seafront a boy was reported for beating up his girlfriend in the street, who was immediately rescued by the same officers police and security.
Finally, in via Desideri, during a condominium dispute a man, who had threatened his neighbor with a baseball bat which was confiscatedwas reported.
In any case, all the suspects are to be considered presumed innocent, in consideration of the current phase of the proceedings or that of the preliminary investigations, until a definitive finding of guilt with an irrevocable sentence.
