The German national team will face the Netherlands, European Championship opponents Hungary and Bosnia-Herzegovina in the group stage of the Nations League. This was the result of the draw for the fourth edition of the Nations League on Thursday evening at the Maison de la Mutualite conference center in Paris.

Germany continues to play in the top league A, but was only in the third draw pot and therefore faced top-class opponents. The matches begin in September after the home European Championship (June 14th to July 14th), which from a German perspective is outstanding, and the remaining match days are scheduled for October and November. It is possible that Julian Nagelsmann, who followed the draw on site, will no longer be the national coach: his contract only runs until the European Championships.
The newly created quarter-finals of the A-League will take place in March 2025, the Final Four tournament will be played in June next year. England was relegated from the A league as bottom of the group behind Italy, Hungary and Germany. The TICKER of the draw for reading:

The draw will begin with the lowest league. There are only two pots here: 1 with Lithuania or Gibraltar and Moldova (the winner plays in League C) and 2 with Malta, Andorra, San Marino and Liechtenstein.

The event in Paris starts with a musical prelude to the Nations League. As usual, the draw will be chaired by UEFA General Secretary Giorgio Marchetti.

These twelve nations are joined by the four best group winners in the Nations League who did not make it into the top two in their qualifying groups. The playoffs consist of two knockout rounds, at the end of which four World Cup tickets are awarded.

RTL shows half of the German games, the others are split between ARD and ZDF. RTL will also broadcast all games in the final round (from the quarter-finals onwards) without German participation. Group games without that DFB team runs on DAZN.
