The Under12 team DRK Capannori Baseball Nuova Sa.Ca. On Sunday in Sesto Fiorentino he won the Tuscany Indoor Baseball League: the winter championship organized by the Tuscan delegation of the FIBS – Italian Baseball and Softball Federation in which the most important teams took part: Antella, Lancers Lasta a Signa, Siena, Fiorentina, Monteriggioni , Padule Sesto, Livorno and DRK.
The team, led by coaches Marco Simi, Marina Cadringer, Carlo Mori and Emanuele Sanson and by sports director Corrado Sarti always performed well during the tournament and the final against Livorno Baseball was an exciting match, with DRK Capannori Baseball they took the lead straight away and then resisted their opponents’ tenacious comeback.
