Clara Lassaux Claims Second National Badminton Title, Julien Carraggi and Marijn Put also Victorious

This is the second national title for the 22-year-old Limaloise, crowned for the first time last year in Gembloux. Clara Lassaux beat Noa Dauphinaix in the final (21-10, 21-7) adding to her record a doubles title won earlier in the day with Flore Vandenhoucke. The duo took the measure in the final of the Demeyere sisters, Lisa and Marie 21-10 and 21-8.

Julien Carraggi adds a third title to his credit after beating defending champion Elias Bracke in the final on Sunday 16-21, 21-14 and 21-12. The 23-year-old from Brussels was crowned in 2021 and 2022.

In the men’s doubles, Marijn Put and Dylan Rosius beat Matijs Dierickx and Freek Golinski in the final 2 sets to 1 (18-21, 21-19 and 21-15).

Lianne Tan, the Belgian number 1 and 47th in the world, 13 times Belgian champion, had to withdraw at the last minute due to a leg injury.
