He Pozuelo de Alarcón Town Hall has launched the “Christmas School” program in three schools of the city: Las Acacias, Príncipes de Asturias and Asunción de Nuestra Señora, during this Christmas holiday period. More than 200 children are participating in this program, which focuses on activities and workshops related to Christmas.
The program, under the motto “Ho, Ho, Ho, Christmas is coming!”, includes educational and recreational activities, with a significant focus on learning English. The initiative seeks to offer childcare options during school holidays, allowing families to better organize their work and personal commitments.
During a visit to school Las Acacias, the mayor Paloma Tejeroaccompanied by the Councilor for Education and Conciliation, Almudena Ruiz, observed the program activities. On his tour, Tejero visited a workshop where children ages 3 to 5 participated in creating snowmen with materials such as cotton pads and cardboard. He also witnessed sports activities for age groups of 6 to 9 years and 9 to 12 years, including human table football and badminton.
