Former NBA Champion Isiah Thomas Faces Travel Trouble with Delta Airlines

He won two NBA championships with the Detroit Pistons, and for many basketball fans he is one of the greatest players in history: Isiah Thomas. But now there is trouble for the former guard. On the way to a job as a TV expert, an airline simply wouldn’t take him.

Who doesn’t know something like that? NBA legend Isiah Thomas experiences great frustration during a trip. Delta Airlines removed him from a flight for which he had a paid ticket and an assigned seat, writes the former Detroit Pistons superstar.

Thomas therefore did not make it to the NBA studios in time and was unable to do his role there as a TV expert. Thomas then angrily confronted the airline on Twitter.

Unfortunately for Thomas, not only did he receive a generic, copy-and-pasted response from the airline, but the NBA Twitter world jumped on the topic and mocked him.

Most of the jokes were about Thomas’ great rivalry with Michael Jordan. Jordan himself prevented Thomas from being part of the legendary Dream Team squad at the 1992 Olympics,
