A great sports fan, he likes to know what is hidden in the lives of athletes, but does not neglect film or singing stars. After a long journey in the Canadian far north, he returned more determined than ever to see what was going on among the people of France and elsewhere.
While Rafael Nadal prepares his big return to the tennis courts next January, his sister Maribel has treated herself to a great vacation in France. The pretty blonde went to Strasbourg to visit the famous Christmas market.

This is news that delighted millions of Rafael Nadal fans. At the beginning of December, the 37-year-old Spanish tennis player announced that he was going to return to competition after long months of absence which saw his rival Novak Djokovic dominate unchallenged. “After a year without competition, it’s time to come back. It will be in Brisbane in the first week of January”, simply indicated the legend in a video posted on his social networks. News that certainly delighted his little sister Maribel, by his side for many years.
The pretty 34-year-old blonde, who works in particular for the academy founded by her brother, is very close to him and we saw him regularly in the stands to encourage him. In 2022, she was on cloud nine after Rafael Nadal’s ‘unforgettable’ Roland-Garros and she must certainly be delighted with the latter’s return to competition. In the meantime, Maribel has treated herself to a few days of vacation and what could be better than going to Strasbourg as Christmas approaches? Followed by more than 170,000 subscribers on Instagram, the beautiful Spaniard published a series of photos from this stay which obviously went very well.
Christmas market and half-timbered houses
In the photos, we can see Maribel Nadal, hat on her head and sunglasses, posing, all smiles, at the water’s edge, with the famous half-timbered houses so typical of the Alsatian region. Obviously, she also went to Colmar, as she indicates in the caption of her publication. Holidays where Rafael Nadal’s sister was not alone since we see her with two friends of hers and the trio was certainly able to take advantage of the famous Strasbourg Christmas market.
Nadal’s last at Roland-Garros?
Images that should please fans of Rafael Nadal, who is preparing his return, while discovering fatherhood. Becoming a father for the first time in October 2022, his wife Xisca Perello gave birth to a little boy. Great news which does not prevent Roger Federer’s great friend from having ambition for the end of his sporting career. “We all want to see him again at Roland and see him choose his exit, that’s the most important thing for him“, recently declared Amélie Mauresmo, director of Roland-Garros and who hopes to see the king of clay come for what could be his last appearance on the courts of Porte d’Auteuil.
