Provincial Council Grants 50,000 Euros in Incentives to Athletes from Cádiz

A total of 79 athletes from the province of Cádiz, coming from 18 municipalities, They have received the economic incentives that the Provincial Council grants each year according to the results obtained in different competitions. The sum of this aid is estimated at 50,000 euros.

The Gala, organized by the Provincial Sports Service, was held at the Campus of Professional Excellence ‘El Madrugador’, in El Puerto, and had the intervention of the second vice president of the provincial institution and head of the Area of ​​Ecological Transition and Development to Citizenship, Javier Vidal.

The athletes highlights from the 2022 season They have, in 19 disciplines, two World Championships; a runner-up in the World Championship; a third place in the World Championship; two European championships; 25 Spanish championships; 23 runners-up in Spain; and 25 third places in Spanish championships, an “extraordinary” background, according to Javier Vidal, and which justifies a “more than deserved” recognition.
