The former athlete and current president of the National District Association, Nelson Javier Ozuna, was elected president of the Dominican Badminton Federation in an election process that took place this Sunday at the premises of the Dominican Chess Federation

Along with Javier Ozuna, Margarita Peguero, first vice president, Alberto Almanzar, second vice president, Juan Eliecer Cruz A., secretary, Edwin Antonio González, co-secretary and Paola Francisca Moreno, treasurer, were chosen in the Executive Committee.
José Efraín Fabián, co-treasurer, was also chosen and the four members are Vicente Alexandro Báez (1), Santo Rijo (2), Miguel Ángel Mariñez Ulloa (3) and Keisy Feliz (4).
The Electoral Commission was made up of the Immortal of Dominican Sports, Juan Vila, president, and was completed by Braulio Ramírez, of Chess, and Américo Cabrera, president of the Association of Sports Writers of Santiago.
