In mid-December, the Brotherhood of the Holy Cross began an extensive solidarity program with the aim of raising funds to research Rett Syndrome, a genetic and neurological developmental disorder that especially affects women. During this month, a Judo Tournament and a School Swimming Championship have been held in collaboration with Judo Avilés, Club Natación Avilés, the Sports Foundation and the Por Todos ya Por Todos Association. So far the fundraising to contribute to this scientific research reaches 2,000 euros.
Until we reach the solidarity gala on February 3, for which tickets and row 0 are already on sale, in January the activities that will be carried out to continue raising funds are a choral concert and two paddle tennis tournaments and basketball, on the 26th, 27th and 28th.
