TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Director of Operations and Safety at PT Transportation Jakarta Daud Joseph said that his party is providing free Transjakarta bus services that will transport spectators U-17 World Cup 2023 from the parking pocket location to Jakarta International Stadium (JIS). In total there are 35 buses consisting of medium, large and microtrans vehicles.
“We provide a total of 35 buses to transport around 3,400 people who we can transport from Kemayoran to JIS,” said Daud in the Bougenville Room, D’Arcici Hotel Sunter, North Jakarta, Friday, November 10 2023.
The U-17 World Cup match will take place at JIS this afternoon at 16.00 WIB. The team competing is the Panama National Team against Morocco. Then continued with the match between the Mali National Team and Afghanistan.
According to Daud, passengers do not have to pay the tariff Transjakarta bus which is specifically to accompany spectators to the U-17 World Cup. This free service is available at JIExpo Kemayoran-JIS from 5.00 WIB to 23.00 WIB.
The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov), said Daud, provides several parking lots, namely at JIExpo Kemayoran and PPK Kemayoran.

“Later, when there is a surge in passengers, we will also anticipate additional ones shuttle free and no need to use a card (tap) to pay,” he said.
Not only that, PT Transjakarta also provides several bus routes to the JIS area. “We have prepared various routes that reach the JIS area. “You can go straight to JIS if you take it from the Senen, Monas and Tanjung Priok bus stops,” said Daud.
He appealed to residents who want to watch or just enjoy the euphoria of the U-17 World Cup to go to HE use public transportation. That way, traffic jams due to massive private vehicles can be avoided.
