The NBA has prepared a ranking of the players who have been affected by the greatest growth in usage percentage, a classification that leads Santi Aldama.
Since recovering from the injury suffered at the beginning of the season, Taylor Jenkins has placed greater trust in the Spanish power forward, who is averaging 11.6 points (40% in triples), 4.6 rebounds and 1.8 assists so far with the Memphis Grizzlies.
John Schuhmann, author of the analysis, has explained the reasons for Santi Aldama’s impact:
Ja Morant and Steven Adams have not played, while Tyus Jones and Dillon Brooks are out. With this, Santi Aldama is one of four Grizzlies (including newcomer Marcus Smart) in the top 25 in usage rate growth.
