In the first set, Misolic lost his serve game when the score was 1:1. In the second set, too, he initially fell behind on his own serve, but the crux of the matter was that the score was 3:3 after five break points.
Misolic confidently played the deciding set against number 386 in the ATP world rankings to win the match.
In the quarterfinals on Friday, Misolic will face Bulgarian Adrian Andreev (22). Andreev is number 264 in the world. Misolic is currently ranked 158th.
