A structure where the history of Monte di Procida basketball has been written since the 1980s. «It is a facility where you learn the rules of sport which, then, are those of life – explained the former mayor Peppe Pugliese – It is a place where every Montese citizen has happy memories. When bad weather made it unusable last year we didn’t hesitate and as an administration we immediately renovated it through 200 thousand euros of municipal funds taken from the budget. It is now ready and will be delivered both to the nearby school and to the children. It represents a jewel for Monte di Procida and it was our intention to reopen it as soon as possible. We succeeded and also in a short time and in less than a year.”
