Roger Federer Opens Up About Parenting Challenges and the Joy of Family Life

Since retiring from the courts a little over a year ago, Roger Federer never hesitates to speak openly about his new private life to the press now that he is in daily contact with his wife and his four children.

Asked, as part of the Laver Cup, about his two daughters and twins aged 14, the Swiss recognized that this period of adolescence was not always easy to manage.

“I’m happy that my daughters allow me to live in my own house (laughs). They are incredible. I love them, but I can’t believe what they’ve become at 14. I feel like I’ve taught them so much, but it’s complicated now, in a good way. I know this period will pass but I love that they have so much personality. I’m glad they scream and cry in our house and don’t do it elsewhere. At least this way I feel like they can share their emotions with me. We talk about everything. I like their honesty. »
