Las Vegas Raiders Struggle with 1-3 Record, Quarterback Debut Underwhelms

After the first four games of the campaign Las Vegas Raiders They have a 1-3 mark, a record that occurred after falling the previous weekend to the Los Angeles Chargers 24-17, in a game where the quarterback’s debut was seen. Aidan O´Connell.

The quarterback introduced himself to the NFL by covering the place of Jimmy Garoppolo, who was out of action due to being in the concussion protocol, which caused O’Connell to show up with only a few days to practice, something that evidently paused bill.

“If you go to a regular-season game and a rookie doesn’t have a chance to practice, it’s a different conversation,” Raiders head coach Josh McDaniel said. “Aidan became acclimatized as the game progressed. There has to be a period of adaptation and his colleagues helped him go through that experience.”

The players who came out to help Aidan feel more comfortable were Davante Adams, Josh Jacobs and Jakobi Meyers, who put themselves in position to make the quarterback work with more confidence.

“I think my teammates did a good job supporting me, they motivated me a lot. The players next to me are stars so I just tried to give them the ball so they could make the plays, but there are a lot of things to correct and that’s what we have to work on this week,” O’Connell commented after his debut.

The Raiders lost their third consecutive game, second by less than seven points, having a game where they turned the ball over three times (two fumbles and one interception) and where they allowed seven quarterback sacks.

Now the Black and Silver squad is preparing to play at home for the second time this season, once again having a game in primetime, as they will face the Green Bay Packers in the duel of NFL on Monday Night.
