The feedback from the regional associations and clubs has been heard and the legal construct of the digital membership management (formerly: Digital JudoPass) has been revised again according to the wishes of the users.
This draft is currently with the Hesse data protection authority (responsible based on the DJB’s headquarters in Frankfurt/Main), which is reviewing it and will issue a legal recommendation on it.
As a result of the revision, the overall changeover will also be postponed from June 30, 2024 to a later date in 2024. As soon as a date can be specified, it will of course be announced immediately.
All regional associations and clubs that are already working with digital membership management can of course continue to do so at their own discretion. However, the provision of some features will be postponed.
