Passaic Tech Ranked No. 1 in North Jersey Public Top 20 Football Rankings

Passaic Tech is the unanimous choice as the No. 1 team in the North Jersey Public Top 20 football rankings after closing its regular season with an unbeaten record.

The reigning North Group 5 regional champion Bulldogs registered their third shutout of the season with a 30-0 victory over Eastside that clinched outright the Super Football Conference Freedom Blue Division title.

Heading into the public playoffs, unbeaten Westwood remains No. 2 after securing its fourth shutout, 35-0, over Ridgefield Park, while unbeaten Ramapo holds at No. 3 on the strength of a 28-7 victory over Ridgewood.

Bergen Catholic remains No. 1 in the Big Six non-public rankings following a 37-7 win over St. Peter’s Prep, and St. Joseph stays at No. 2 after a 30-21 victory over Seton Hall Prep in Week 8. The Non-Public regular season concludes this coming week.

All season long, the Varsity Aces will rank the Top 20 public-school teams and Big Six non-public teams in North Jersey. Here are the rankings after Week 8.
