French team: victim of a fracture, Tchouaméni should be absent for two months

Hard blow for the French team and Real Madrid. In great shape in recent weeks, Aurélien Tchouaméni could miss the next two months of competition. Holder in the Clasico won by the Madrilenians thanks to a double from Bellingham, Saturday on the pitch of FC Barcelona (1-2, 11th day of Liga), the French midfielder played the entire match.

Tchouaméni appeared limping when leaving the locker room after the match, and the verdict fell this Sunday morning. The number 18 of the White House suffers from an “incomplete stress fracture in the second metatarsal of the left foot”, announced his club on its social networks.

He would miss the Blues’ next two matches

If Real has not yet officially communicated the duration of his unavailability, the first reports indicate an absence of eight weeks. The 23-year-old would then miss the Blues’ final two days of Euro 2024 qualifying, against Gibraltar (November 18) and Greece (November 21).

Arriving in Madrid in the summer of 2022 from AS Monaco, Aurélien Tchouaméni has become an essential cog in Real Madrid in recent months. The White House has never lost a match when the French international was lined up at kick-off.
