Namyangju City Council Applies for 1 Billion Won Grant to Improve Sudong-myeon Badminton Court Facility

Namyangju City Council Vice Chairman Lee Sang-ki (People’s Power, Ga constituency) and Rep. Jeon Hye-yeon (People’s Power, proportional representative) applied for a grant of 1 billion won for the ‘Sudong-myeon Songcheon-ri Badminton Court Facility Improvement Project’ in the second half of the Gyeonggi-do special adjustment grant.

Songcheon-ri Badminton Court in Sudong-myeon is the only badminton court in Sudong-myeon. As the facilities deteriorated after 20 years of construction, there were concerns about safety accidents, and there have been continuous requests from residents for reinforcement work.

Vice-Chairman Lee Sang-gi said, “Considering Namyangju’s lack of livelihood, we chose to receive Gyeonggi-do special adjustment subsidies. Together with Rep. Jeon Hye-yeon, we visited Mayor Ju Gwang-deok to discuss the urgency and necessity of this project, and we discussed the urgency and necessity of this project. The design cost was put up for deliberation through the supplementary budget for the car,” he said.
