Why “DOWNTOWN KINGS”
Basketball is one of the top players in Japan.
And there are many competitions other than professional leagues, and there are many adult teams.
If you have tried to reserve a gymnasium in the area, you may have felt it firsthand, but it is almost impossible to make a reservation for your desired date.
Furthermore, I think there are many people who do not belong to a team, but who have basketball experience and would like to play if given the opportunity.
Basically, when playing basketball with a group of people, you need the behavior, skills, and physical strength necessary for basketball, such as “running,” “flying,” and “hitting.” Among them, I thought that there are many players who specialize in “hitting”.
Also, by specializing in this “hitting”, it is possible to establish a competition without handicaps such as “not fast feet”, “cannot jump high”, “not tall”, and “not knowing strategy”. .
For those who have not been able to shine due to various circumstances and handicaps, and those who want to shine again,I want to create a place where everyone can shine through this tournament. It will be a project, a competition that stood up with such a philosophy.
Use of funds and implementation schedule
The funds collected in this project will be used for the following purposes, excluding READYFOR fees and consumption tax.
・Meeting venue fee
・ Tournament operating costs (equipment, transportation costs for management members, MC and guest fees)
・Merchandise for top winners
・ Return gifts (design and production costs for T-shirts, jerseys, etc.)
・ Shooting and video editing costs on the day

As much as possible, I tried to make it a design that can be worn as everyday clothes, so I hope you will love it.

We have seen various layers of basketball, from amateur basketball to student basketball and professional basketball.
As you can see in our profile, we are already old men, and it’s hard to play with all our might even for 3 minutes.
Still, everyone loves basketball, so they get out of the car, take the train, ride their bicycles even in the rain, and gather at the gymnasium.
I enjoy playing basketball with my friends and acquaintances.
But, after all, if I play sports, I want to shine a little.
Even if I don’t have the physical strength or time to seriously practice like I did back then, I may not be able to hone my skills, but I would like to shine a little.
From young people who just like basketball or who just started playing basketball, to passionate athletes who don’t want to lose to anyone, various thoughts and skills will become “as equal as possible” and everyone can enjoy it. I thought I should open a competition where I can do it.
At a minimum, you need “the power to throw the ball from the three-point line to the goal ring”, but you don’t need anything else.
You can throw it with both hands, throw it from below, or throw it like a baseball.
There is no defense, so you can shoot at your own pace.
I would be happy if as many people as possible who think “I can do it” will participate.
And I would appreciate it if you could cooperate in order to create a tournament where as many people as possible can participate.
