Cheikh D, about 40 years old, lost his life while swimming in the sea with friends. The tragedy occurred last Sunday at the Malibu beach of Golf Sud in Guédiawaye.
Party with friends to relax on the beach, the victim who was playing a game of football on the fine sand by the ocean, suddenly decided to go swimming. The sea which was agitated with whirlwinds and big waves carried away the Cheikh D. relates Les Echos.

Unfortunately, Sheikh D, was not lucky enough to get out of the raging wave trap. His comrades who witnessed the sad scene began to panic and seek help. The victim suddenly disappears from the surface of the water and ends up drowning.
Alerted, the police from the Golf Sud police station arrived on the scene in the company of the firefighters. After long excavations, the lifeless body of Cheikh D was fished out and taken to a hospital center for the needs of an autopsy.
