In support of the comprehensive development of children from San Luis Potosí, the State Government through the State Government Education Department (SEGE), Culture Department (Secult) and the TANGAMANGA I and II State Center for Culture and Recreation (Cecurt ), will carry out the summer camp “Campamento Potosí”, aimed at children between the ages of 5 and 12, which will take place in the Children’s Unit of the Tangamanga I park, from July 17 to August 4 with a schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. :00 hours from Monday to Friday.
The head of the SEGE, Juan Carlos Torres Cedillo, said that as part of the educational strategy promoted by the Governor of San Luis Potosí Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, a space will be offered for children with recreation, fun and playful learning activities, in addition to providing support to mothers and fathers and to State workers who continue to work during the school vacation season.
With this sum of efforts, there will be sports activities such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, athletics, badminton, crossfit kids, discgolf among others; ludic-recreational activities such as crafts, psychomotor, coordination development, dance and some more; and workshops on camping, first aid and nutrition will be offered, taught by specialists in the field, as well as by teachers.
