Marcus Pedersen is fully with Feyenoord with his focus. The right back is reportedly in the interest of Bayer Leverkusen, Torino and Internazionale, but has given his agent a clear instruction: “I have also told my agents that I do not want to hear anything, because I want to focus on the field.”

Feyenoord paid just over one million euros in the summer of 2021 for Pedersen’s services to Molde FK. The fast wing defender managed to win over the audience in Rotterdam with his offensive intentions. Now, two years later, Pedersen seems to be able to leave Feyenoord again. The right back has been offered to Internazionale by his agent, Enzo Raiola. Nevertheless, Pedersen does not want to leave De Kuip, he says in conversation with De Telegraaf: “But there is nothing concrete. It’s just rumours. My head is completely with Feyenoord. We are entering the Champions League, that is also a dream for me.”

The 23-year-old Norwegian is having a great time at Feyenoord and is therefore very much looking forward to starting the new season with the team from Rotterdam: “It will be another very long season and everyone will of course start at zero again, but I see that we have a very strong selection,” says Pedersen. “At the moment, Feyenoord is the perfect club for football players.”

Pedersen is therefore pleased that Arne Slot has decided to stay longer at Feyenoord. The right-back thinks the coach has a big share in the current success: “I have followed him closely over the last two years and have seen how he has transformed the club. It was very important for the club that he stayed. Everyone is used to his way of playing and he has a very good relationship with the players.” Pedersen believes that Slot is a lot further than other trainers: “He is a trainer with enormous football intelligence, who notices all the details. We have made huge strides because of him. Because he taught us things that not all trainers see.”
