The meeting was attended by the gold medal for cycling Federico Pirro, the silver for judo Riccardo Verdecchia and, representing the futsal team, silver medal, Giacomo Giuggiolini, Marco Astuti, Nicolò Pennesi and Lorenzo Nardi. With them, the chess players Alessio Gattofani and Andrea Pagnanini, who, with Federico Basili, Pietro Iuliano and Vittorio Rossi, captained by Cristiano Armellini, obtained an honorable fifth place just a few points from the podium.
