Argentinian superstar Messi feels ‘ready’ for his US adventure

Lionel Messi is expected to be officially unveiled at Inter Miami on Sunday. The Argentine is already talking about the new chapter in his career. He feels good about the decision.
Superstar Lionel Messi is looking forward to his new football adventure in the USA.
“I’m fine, we’re happy with the decision we made,” said the world champion in an interview with Argentine TV broadcaster Televisión Pública shortly before his official presentation as a new player for US club Inter Miami, which is expected on Sunday. He was “prepared and ready” to face the “new challenge, the new change”.
Even if the level of play in Major League Soccer cannot keep up with that in Europe’s top leagues, the 36-year-old does not want to end his career there comfortably. “Going to the USA doesn’t change my attitude and mentality,” said Messi. He will also try there to “perform at the highest level”.

According to media reports, the Argentine has already arrived in his new adopted home of Florida after a holiday in the Bahamas. On Sunday, MLS club Inter Miami are planning an event called ‘The Unveil’, when the multi-time world footballer is likely to be seen in Inter Miami colors for the first time. Messi himself announced his free transfer to ex-English international David Beckham’s club in early June. His contract with French champions Paris Saint-Germain had expired.
As always, Messi did not want to answer the question of when he would end his career. “I don’t know when the time will come. I don’t think about it, I just think from day to day,” he said. After winning the eagerly awaited World Cup title in Qatar at the end of last year, he couldn’t just give up: “It’s time to enjoy it.”
