Kyushu Qualifier for Intercity Baseball Tournament Held in Okinawa After 10 Years

The Kyushu Qualifier for the Intercity Baseball Tournament was held in Okinawa for the first time in 10 years, and the exciting competition kicked off with Naha Mayor Satoru Chinen throwing the ceremonial first pitch.

The Intercity Tournament is an amateur baseball tournament held every summer since 1927. Enagic, Okinawa Electric Power, and Simba Network participate from the prefecture, aiming to represent the Kyushu region.

The matches began on the 25th at Okinawa Cellular Stadium and Agre Stadium Chatan, with the heated battle for two national team spots underway.
