• For the third time in the country’s history, the USA basketball players became the champions of the 3×3 World Cup for women, beating France 16:12 in the final.
• French players won medals at the fourth World Cup in a row. If before that it became bronze medalists twice, then a year ago it triumphed.
• 14 of the 16 points scored by the USA were scored by two basketball players – Haley van Leet and Sierra Burdick.

• Australian basketball players became bronze medalists in the women’s competition, beating the Chinese national team 21:20 in an exciting battle. This was the second time for the Australians that they ended the World Cup with a bronze medal.
• Serbia’s dominance continues in the men’s competition. The national 3×3 basketball players knew how to fight back from 15:18 and beat the USA with 21:19.
• This became the sixth time that Serbia has won the World Cup in the 3×3 competition and the second time in a row. A year ago, the Serbs beat Lithuania 21:16 in the final.
• USA played in the second final in the men’s competition, beating Latvia three years ago. This time too, the country came close to winning, but lacked composure in the crucial moments at the end of the game.
• The game was fast and exciting, with attacks based on precision from two-point range.
• At 15:18, Serbia was able to score difficult baskets, which also allowed them to return to the game. Tied at 19-19, the USA missed two long shots that could have sealed the win. It was used by Serbia, becoming champions.
• Dejan Majstorovic scored seven points for the champions, while Mihailo Vasic and Strahinj Stojacic scored six.
• For the losers, Jimmer Fredette led the way, scoring more than half of the Americans’ points (ten). Dylan Travis had five points and Kenyon Berry had four.
