Clermont dismissed by the industrial tribunal for the suspension of the contract of Mohamed Haouas

Clermont lost the first episode of the legal standoff between him and Mohamed Haouas since the ASM affirmed that the right pillar will “not be able to wear, on the ground, the colors (of the) club” following to his sentence to one year in prison without a warrant on May 30 for domestic violence.

ASM hoped to suspend Haouas’ contract, which is due to start on July 1 and spans three years. He had seized in this sense the industrial tribunal of Clermont which, after a hearing on Wednesday, decided on Monday. Clermont’s request for suspension of the employment contract was dismissed.

“Mohamed Haouas will be present in Clermont from July 1, told us Me Dubois, Mohamed Haouas’ lawyer in this case. Today, the ball is in ASM’s court. She can keep Mohamed Haouas, which would be quite surprising given that they pleaded very important damage to the image of the club last week. The ASM can also dismiss Mohamed Haouas if it considers that his behavior constitutes serious misconduct. In this case, there is a procedure to follow, which would start with a pre-dismissal interview. The club can also reach an agreement on a transaction with the player and myself. While waiting for the ASM to assume its responsibilities and exercise its power of management, my client will be present in Clermont on July 1 (Saturday). Satisfaction is legitimate. As I have pleaded, it is not up to the industrial tribunal to make choices on behalf of the employer. »

The Auvergne club has not yet communicated on the subject.
