Pau Gasol is already part of the world basketball elite. The best Spanish player in history has been officially announced as a member of the Hall of Fame’s class of 2023.
The man from Sant Boi enters the very select group along with other basketball legends such as Dirk Nowitzki, Tony Parker, Gregg Popovich and Dwyane Wade, members of a class of 2023 that is one of the best in history.
A few days after his number 16 was retired forever in the Lakers, Pau Gasol adds a new episode to his legacy, achieving something that very few Europeans have achieved.
Along with him, other illustrious Europeans such as the Frenchman Tony Parker or the German Dirk Nowtizi will also enter the Hall of Fame, as will Gregg Popovich or Becky Hammon, entering as coaches.
