FC Bayern: Big change in Bavaria’s summer planning | Sports

Shortly before the end of the season there are at the Bavaria an important change for the summer!

According to BILD information, the record champion’s planned tour of Australia is cancelled. Actually, Bayern should fly down under after the last matchday on May 29th. The trip would have gone by June 4th.

Now the change! Because according to BILD information, the organizer cannot meet the financial obligations. The club had been promised four to five million euros.

Certainly a relief for the players. The marketing trip would have meant, among other things, 30,000 kilometers of air travel (there and back) for the players.

FC Bayern flies to Asia in the summer

Another journey is certain: To prepare for 2023/24 – and to present themselves on the market – Bayern will fly to Japan and Singapore in the last week of July to hold a training camp and friendlies there.

From July 24th Bayern are in Tokyo – with two friendlies (one against Kawasaki Frontale). After that, the trip goes to a second city with a third friendly (not official yet) until August 3rd. Asia was the last travel destination in 2017 (China and Singapore). Last year the Munich team flew to the USA.
