Ofner beat the Italian Flavio Cobolli 7:5, 7:5 in the semifinals and is playing for his fourth title at Challenger level on Sunday.

Opponent then is the winner of the match between Alessandro Giannessi and Arthur Cazaux.

It is already clear that Ofner will celebrate a new career high next Monday: In the current live ranking, he has moved up to 121st place by reaching the final. So far, rank 126 was his highest ranking.

Jurij Rodionov also reaches the final

Shortly afterwards, compatriot Jurij Rodionov also made it clear that he would be in the final – at the ATP100 Challenger in Biel. Rodionov beat Benjamin Hassan 6:3 and 7:5. Opponents for him on Sunday: Marius Copil or Liam Broady.

Rodionov could celebrate his sixth Challenger title with a win.
