MADRID, 30 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The British Jake Dixon (Kalex), in Moto2, and the Colombian David Alonso (CFMoto), in Moto3, led this Tuesday the test of the two categories held at the Jerez-Ángel Nieto Circuit.

In the intermediate category, in the last of the three sessions of the day, Dixon set a 1:40.394 which was the new lap record on the Andalusian track. Thus, he surpassed the Thai Somkiat Chantra (Kalex) by one tenth and the Italian Tony Arbolino (Kalex) by two.

The leader until last Sunday, the Spanish Sergio García Dols (Boscoscuro), finished sixth in the combined times. Neither the new owner of the lead, the American Joe Roberts (Kalex), nor the Murcian Fermín Aldeguer (Boscoscuro), participated in the test.

Meanwhile, David Alonso was the fastest in the light category, setting a time of 1:43.948 that allowed him to surpass Sunday’s winner, the Dutchman Collin Veijer (Husqvarna). Meanwhile, the Italian Luca Lunetta (Honda) completed the ‘Top 3’ of the day.

For his part, the Spanish Dani Holgado (GasGas), who retained the lead on Sunday due to the fall of Alonso, was not part of the test, nor were the rest of the KTM Ajo riders.
