Leeds want to stop its free fall and continue without Jesse Marsch | Premier League

In February last year, Jesse Marsch took over from Marcelo Bielsa. That guru had molded Leeds for 3.5 years and steered the club back to the Premier League after a 16-year absence.

Leeds’ future at the top English level is now hanging by a thread.

Last season, Leeds only secured retention under Marsch on the final match day, this year is also going smoothly.

Leeds have failed to win any of their last 7 games. Yesterday it lost 1-0 at Nottingham, but according to Marsch there was still enough faith within the club walls that the results would improve.

The Leeds board is starting that change without Marsch. The club has slipped to 17th place and is still just above the relegation places based on goal difference.
