FC Groningen is aiming for Jens Petter Hauge. SC Heerenveen’s upcoming opponent has already strengthened itself this winter with two midfielders, but also wants to add 23-year-old Hauge.
“It has been or has been on the lists at Heerenveen for a long time. They really wanted it a few years ago,” says journalist Sander de Vries in Broadcaster Abe of the Leeuwarder Courant. “At that time he was still playing at Bodø/Glimt. That seems to be a really good player. If Groningen manages to catch them, then they will really improve, I think,” De Vries thinks.
Jan Vlap does add a comment to this: “You have to be right there too, right? You can bring in all sorts of things, but it also has to be right. I don’t expect that there will be a huge turnaround in the coming weeks.” he predicts.
