Carlos Correa reached an agreement this Tuesday with the Mellizos from Minnesotaaccording to reports from various journalists covering the MLB source.

The contract between the Minnesota Twins and the shortstop will be for six years and 200 million dollars.

The news was released by journalist Jeff Passan. According to Passan, only the last part of the physical examination would be pending.

Most of the revision is complete, including his ankle. So there is nothing planned to stop Correa’s return to the Twins.

Correa arrives again at the doors of his team after the failed agreements with the San Francisco Giants and the New York Mets.

According to the MLB portal, the Puerto Rican’s new contract includes an option that could go up to 270 million dollars.

It should be remembered that Correa had agreed with San Francisco last December for 13 years and 350 million dollars. But the Giants rescinded the contract after medical review.

After the news, the New York Mets offered the shortstop a stay with the Queens team for 12 years and 315 million dollars, but once again his physical condition was the bar for the Mets to release him.
