The German coach, Julian Nagelsmann, has made public the official squad list for the next Euro Cup that will be held in his country between June 14 and July 14. On this list, two Barça players appear: Marc André Ter Stegen and Ilkay Gündogan.

Two Real Madrid players are also part of the call: central defender Antonio Rüdiger and midfielder Toni Kroos, who a few months ago decided to return to his national team after having announced his goodbye after the 2021 Euro Cup. The list is made up of 27 players and Nagelsmann will rule out one of them before the start of the tournament. In principle, he will be one of the four goalkeepers called up.

The German Federation had been leaking some names to the media or through social networks to create expectation and it was this Thursday when it announced the final list of those called up. The list is somewhat revolutionary with the absence of veterans or players who have played in the national team, such as Goretzka, Hummels, Gnabry, Timo Werner or Adeyemi. In it, players from Bayer Leverkusen, the new Bundesliga champion, and Stuttgart gain prominence.

The list is as follows

Goalkeepers: Oliver Baumann (Hoffenheim), Manu Neuer (Bayern), Alexander Nübel (Stuttgart) and Marc André Ter Stegen (Barça).

Defenses: Waldemar Anton (Stuttgart), Benjamin Henrichs (Leipzig), Joshua Kimmich (Bayern), Robin Koch (Eintracht Frankfurt), Maximilian Mittelstädt (Stuttgart), David Raum (Leipzig), Antonio Rüdiger (Real Madrid), Nico Schlotterbeck (Borussia Dortmund ) and Jonathan Tah (Bayer Leverkusen).

Midfielders: Robert Andrich (Bayer Leverkusen), Chris Führich (Stuttgart), Pascal Gross (Brighton), Ilkay Gündogan (Barça), Toni Kroos (Real Madrid), Jamal Musiala (Bayern), Aleksandar Pavlovic (Bayern), Florian Wirtz (Bayer Leverkusen ), and Leroy Sané (Bavaria).

Attackers: Maximilian Beier (Hoffenheim), Niclas Füllkrug (Borussia Dortmund), Kai Havertz (Arsenal), Thomas Müller (Bayern), Deniz Undav (Stuttgart).
