Blaine. Judo-club: all generations on the tatami

This gathering at the beginning of January has become a tradition at the club, explains Mickaël Drouard, president of the Blain judo club. It allows all generations to meet, from the youngest in baby judo to our veterans.

This multi-age session, organized on Friday, brought together around 80 members out of the 140 in the club, divided into three sections: judo, ju-jitsu self-defense and taïso.

The club recorded a good performance on Saturday, with the departmental title obtained in Nantes by Simon Drouard in the junior category, under 73 kg. He will represent his club on Saturday January 28 in Angers, during the regional junior championship qualifying for the French championship.

On Saturday February 11, cadets from the judo club will take part in the departmental championship in Nantes. Saturday March 4 and Sunday March 5, the chicks(ines) and the youngest(ines) will go to Châteaubriant for the northern district qualifying for the departmental championship. The club’s gala will be held at the Destivelle room on Sunday 14 May.
