The Argentine Basketball Confederation informs that, within the framework of the criminal proceeding against Mr. Germán Vaccaro in the field of federal criminal justice of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires for the crime of fraudulent administration, the intervening oral court decided to suspend the process on probation for a period of three years.
Mr. Vaccaro, who accepted his guilt, was ordered to pay the sum of USD 80,000 to the CAB as reparation for the damage caused. This figure arises from the expertise that appears in the files. In addition, he will be permanently disqualified from holding positions in the CAB or in the field of its affiliates.
The CAB promoted the case, becoming a plaintiff in 2016 with the legal sponsorship of Dr. Viviana García Sierra, who remained in that capacity until the completion of the criminal process.
