The Amicale Laïque de Bénodet has 71 registered members, an increase in numbers since the pandemic period. A very encouraging result for the future. Affiliated with the federation of secular works, the association aims to make educational, recreational and sporting activities available to all. It offers adult gymnastics or pilates, health sports, dance and children’s gymnastics, bodybuilding and badminton.
“This year, we have set up health sports, a baby gym activity on Saturdays in Poulpry from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., intended for kindergarten children (3 to 5 years old) and a gym for primary school children. (6 to 10 years old). These two activities are of interest to childminders in the Fouesnant area,” explained Marie-Claire Becker, president of the Amicale. The children of the Amicale will present a gymnastics show in June. As a reminder, the galette des rois is scheduled for January 20 at 6 p.m. at the Keranguyon hall.
The office of the Amicale is made up of Marie-Claire Becker, president, Christian Lemétayer, vice-president, Marie-Claude Gouill, secretary, Claudette Lemétayer, assistant secretary, Dominique Cloarec, treasurer and Michèle Duloutre, assistant treasurer. Thibault Fanchon also joined the team of sports animators this year.
