Ronaldo was suspended by coach Erik ten Hag because he went into the dressing room before the final whistle in the 2-0 win over Tottenham on Wednesday. He is said to have previously refused to be substituted on. In the dressing room he is said to have quickly packed his clothes and then left the stadium.
For this he was not only thrown out of the squad and had to train alone on Friday. He was also fined an alleged £1m.
