Gold for Robert Hales

As he was about to celebrate his 95th birthday, Robert Hales received the gold medal from the Gard badminton committee. It is both to celebrate this event and the 95th birthday of Robert Hales that the president of the bad/ping club, Nathalie Guio, set up a reception to which members who came, Wednesday, September 28, were invited to training in the gym.

Before raising a toast in honor of the medalist, very happy with the distinction he had just received, Rudy Thérond, chairman of the Gard table tennis committee, took the floor to discuss the ties of friendship that bind him to Robert Hales. “Besides, didn’t we found the Aigues-Mortes table tennis club together in 1990?”

And to recall that the gold medal awarded to Robert a few days ago rewarded him for his longevity and his dedication to the practice of table tennis. He did not hesitate to qualify the one who celebrated his 95th birthday today “of the dean of the club, of the Gard committee and perhaps of Occitanie”. This reception ended in a good mood.
